…and also: an editorial director, a writer, a brand builder with a shocking talent for understanding what people will want before they do.
I know: The true purpose of brand expression is to tell people how they feel (at worst) or to help people articulate their feelings (at best). Either way, my job is to make a lasting emotional connection, no matter what.
I believe: Nothing’s getting done without talking, letting ideas go (even great ones), and connecting every creative discipline into a holistic team.
I like: Iced coffee in the wintertime, icy Vin Jaune in the anytime. The exciting, fizzy feeling that tells me I’m onto a really big idea. Oxford commas. Money-green leather sofas.
I dislike: Isolated teams. Connecting flights. Walking past Subway when they've obviously been baking bread. Solo exclamation marks. The word “silo.”
I do: Brand strategy. Creative direction. Vision setting. Brand development and evolution. Editorial direction. Copywriting. UX writing. Creative writing. All the writings. Extracurriculars: fabric design, spending as much time in the Atlantic as possible, forever perfecting my caesar salad (it’s the best but I won’t stop).
